Ski Resort and Sanctuary in the Vall de Núria

The Vall de Núria is a valley in the Eastern Pyrenees in the municipal area of Queralbs (Ripollès), with a unique natural wealth and landscape. It is one of the highest points in the Vall de Ribes and is surrounded by peaks of almost 3,000 metres, such as the Puigmal, the Pic de Finestrelles, the Pic de Noufonts, the Pic de l'Infern or the Bastiments. It contains the Vall de Núria ski resort with 7.6 kilometres of skiable slopes.

The Sanctuary of the Virgin of Núria is in the centre of the valley, and can be reached by the only means of access: a unique form of transport: the Rack railway train, which travels 12.5 kilometres and climbs more than 1,000 metres. The ticket includes the return journey, exhibitions, an audiovisual presentation, the Vall de Núria interpretation centre and a visit to the Basilica.

The Vall de Núria also offers visitors a selection of activities throughout the year, such as horse or pony rides, the possibility of renting boats or canoes, mini golf, hiking for all levels and also the Leisure Park and the Cau de la Marmota. Designed for children, the opening times vary depending on the season, with a whole host of attractions such as an indoor climbing wall, zip lining and balancing games, story or makeup workshops, and so on.
