These booking conditions apply to all online bookings with ELS CAÇADORS DE RIBES, S.L. made through https://www.hotelsderibes.com/ (hereinafter, the “website”).
When making a booking, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
We reserve the right to cancel fraudulent, false or speculative bookings, as well as bookings requested by a customer with whom there may be a disagreement or dispute regarding previous bookings, or where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the customer is engaging in criminal activity.

User obligations

Booking procedure
You may select your arrival and departure dates and the number of guests. Once you have filtered the options, click on the option you want to view the detailed information available on the website. You may then proceed with the booking.
You will be asked to enter all your details (first and last name, email address, postal address, etc.).
To complete the booking, we will ask for your card details, which are collected solely to guarantee the booking. Payment will be made at the hotel. Only in the event of a cancellation or no-show will the booking be cancelled and the charge set out in the rate conditions applied to your card. Cards accepted at this hotel: Mastercard and Visa.
You will be able to review a summary of your booking before completing it.
Availability
All bookings are subject to availability. If you have any questions, we recommend contacting our customer service team.
Contract with ELS CAÇADORS DE RIBES, S.L. and acceptance of orders
Once the booking is complete, the user will receive a confirmation email, which will include confirmation of the booking order. The booking confirmation email serves as proof of the booking.
Currency, tax and price
The prices shown are retail prices and include VAT. The applicable rate will be the one legally in force at any given time. All prices are shown in euros (€).
The price includes: the price per night according to the selected room type and board arrangement, unless the inclusion of other services is specifically stated.
CHECK-IN: From 2 p.m. (until 9 p.m.). Apartments: from 4 p.m. If the guest arrives earlier, they may access their room if it is ready. Early check-in price: 3 euros.
CHECK-OUT: Until 12 noon. Late check-out may be available until 3 p.m. (subject to availability). Price: 12 euros.
- Check-in time: from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Check-out time: before 12 noon.
Tourist tax: the tax on stays in tourist establishments is 0.99 euros per person per day, including VAT.
This tax is payable directly to the hotel. It will NOT apply from the 7th consecutive night of the stay, or to children aged 16 and under.
Requests: the hotel will note your requests concerning room type, views, adjoining rooms, bed types, etc., but cannot guarantee them, as they are subject to availability.
Parking: spaces cannot be booked in advance. Please check availability at check-in.
Drinks: NOT included.
Pets
The whole family is welcome at Hotel Els Caçadors, including your pets. Pets are allowed in the hotel’s standard-category rooms (but not in the other categories), provided they meet the required hygiene and health standards and are well behaved. A fee of 18 euros per day applies.
Pets are only allowed in the establishment’s common areas (such as the restaurant or lounges) if they are in a carrier or on a lead. Pets must not be left alone in the room.
If any damage is caused during the stay, the cost will be charged to the pet owner’s bill.
Children and extra beds
Children of any age may stay at the hotel.
TRAVEL COTS: If your baby needs a travel cot, you can request one when making the booking (7 euros per night). If you do not request a travel cot, we will assume that you do not need one.
Please check the maximum occupancy of the room you have selected. All cots and extra beds are subject to availability.
Payment for the stay
Payment for the stay is due on arrival (check-in). Cheques are not accepted. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit card before your arrival.
Cards accepted at this hotel: Mastercard, Visa, (American Express not accepted), Maestro, (Diners Club not accepted).
The hotel may cancel your booking if your card is declined during pre-authorisation or if you do not reply to the email requesting new credit card details within the following 24 hours.
Booking cancellation and modification
Cancellation within 48 hours: if the customer cancels the booking less than 48 hours before the arrival date or fails to show up, the hotel will charge the customer’s credit card an amount equivalent to the first night.
Passports and visas
All travellers, without exception (including children), must carry the appropriate valid personal and family documents, whether a passport or national identity document, in accordance with the applicable law. Where required for travel, travellers are responsible for obtaining visas, passports, vaccination certificates, etc. Children under 18 must carry written permission signed by their parents or guardians, in case it is requested by an authority.
If an authority refuses to issue a visa for reasons specific to the user, denies entry into the country because the required conditions are not met, because the required documents are defective, or because the traveller is not carrying them, the hotel accepts no responsibility for such circumstances. Any resulting costs shall be borne by the consumer.
Children under 18 must stay at the hotel accompanied by their parents, guardians or adults duly authorised by them. Hotel staff may request the relevant documents identifying the adults as the child’s parents or guardians, or as authorised persons.
3. PARTIAL INVALIDITY
If any part of these service conditions is contrary to law and therefore invalid, this shall not affect the other provisions that comply with the law. The parties undertake to renegotiate any provisions of the service conditions that are found to be invalid and incorporate the agreed wording into the remaining service conditions.
4. AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
ELS CAÇADORS DE RIBES, S.L. reserves the right to amend the general terms and conditions of sale without prior notice. It may change, remove or add content and services offered through the website, as well as the way they are presented or located on its servers.
The user must accept these changes each time they complete a purchase of a product or service through the website.
If a court decision declares any of the terms of the general terms and conditions of sale invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

5. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Where the customer is not a consumer or user, or is domiciled outside Spain, they shall submit to the courts and tribunals of Girona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.

This contract shall enter into force and take full effect when the customer or user accepts it.
